Auditorium, W1 bldg., KIER, 152 Gajeon-ro, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, the Republic of Korea
Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) welcomes you to a workshop between Australian and Korean researchers working in Hydrogen technologies. Please click the Registration in the PDF or scan the QR code with your mobile phone and submit the R.S.V.P. form by August 31.
About the event
In collaboration with CSIRO, Australia's national science agency, and the Australian Hydrogen Research Network, KIER will host Australia-Korea Hydrogen Research Workshop on Wednesday September 6, 2023 at KIER, 152 Gajeong-ro, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, 34129, Korea. The workshop will start at 9:30 and close at 15:00. Bringing together experts of hydrogen related research from the two countries, government, and industry representatives, the workshop will aim to establish 2-way fellowship program between the Republic of Korea and Australia looking to collectively share resources and research talent.
Who should participate?
Researchers from government research institutions, universities and industry doing research in hydrogen technologies across the supply chain, and interested in collaboration with Australia.
Background of Australian H2 delegation to the Republic of Korea
To meet aspirations in hydrogen, the Australian government identified in 2019 Australia's need to stimulate international research connectivity and knowledge sharing, build hydrogen RD&D capability and support industry development. Research delegations led by CSIRO involving 14 Australian universities visited Germany, France, Japan, UK, USA and Singapore from September 2022 to June 2023.
12 Australian delegates are participating in the delegation to the Republic of Korea.
