The technology for CNT composite as a separator for advanced electrical conductivity and improved strength, which was developed by the joint research from KIER and CNT Solution Co., Ltd., was certified as a New Excellent Technology at the '2021 New Technology and New Product Certification Ceremony'.

NET (New Excellent Technology) authentication promotes technology commercialization by discovering new technologies developed by domestic companies, research institutes, and universities at an early stage and certifying their excellence. It enhances the reliability of products to which new technologies are applied. It is a system jointly operated by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards, and the Korea Industrial Technology Association.

At this award ceremony, a total of 29 new technologies were selected, and the ' technology for CNT composite as a separator of KIER was chosen as a New Excellent Technology inf the chemical and biology fields.
