On April 12 (Tue), the Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) signed the ‘Cooperation Agreement on Development of the Digital Twin Platform for Virtual Demonstration of the Floating Offshore Wind Farm’ with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) and the Korea Research Institute of Ships and Ocean Engineering (KRISO).

These three institutes agreed to cooperate in developing the digital twin platform for simulating and virtually demonstrating the floating offshore wind farm, supporting creation of the environment for conducting simulations based on super-computing and for implementing digital twins, utilizing each other’s research infrastructure, and commercializing research results.
