Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) signed an MOU for technology with Hyundai Steel on May 20 (Fri.).

Through this MOU, Hyundai Steel and KIER will jointly pursue carbon-related technology R&D in the energy area, such as hydrogen production and CCUS, based on the MOU the two parties signed in 2016 in the area of greenhouse gases and energy.

The areas of cooperation with Hyundai Steel in this MOU include hydrogen production, CCUS, heat equipment efficiency, energy recycling, carbon upcycling, new and renewable energy, and bioenergy.
