Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) held a knowledge sharing workshop with the theme of rechargeable batteries on June 14 (Tue.).

EV/ESS batteries and recycling used batteries are core aspects of boosting green competitiveness for the future to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

Against this backdrop, the workshop was held to share knowledge of the experts’ research areas and facilitate R&D cooperation to achieve net zero. Experts presented on various topics, such as the trend of rechargeable batteries, large-capacity grid-linked ESS, rechargeable batteries for EVs, and common areas.
