Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) signed an MOU with seven institutes or companies, including KHNP on May 27 (Fri.) for the clean nuclear hydrogen technology R&D and project.

Through this MOU, KHNP, KEPCO E&C, Doosan Enerbility, POSCO Holdings, H2KOREA, the Korean Nuclear Society, the Korean Hydrogen & New Energy Society and KIER will cooperate in the R&D and commercialization of technology to produce clean hydrogen with low-carbon, low-cost nuclear power, the development of a business model for clean nuclear hydrogen, and the establishment of a sustainable ecosystem of the nuclear and hydrogen industries.
