Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) signed an MOU with Hanwha E&C on May 25 (Wed.) for technology R&D to produce hydrogen by gasification.

Through this MOU, KIER and Hanwha E&C agreed to examine each other first when seeking a partner and suggest ways to cooperate regarding the R&D of technology, such as the gasification and utilization technology using hydrocarbon materials (pyrolysis oil, coal, waste, etc.) and the technology for an integrated system to manage the safety of plants.
