A research team led by Dr. Jung Chi-young of the Fuel Cell Research & Demonstration Center of Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) developed a manufacturing source technology and mass productivity that can cut the cost of fuel cell MEA (Membrane Electrode Assembly) for transportation and construction and transferred the technology to a domestic small-scale business (Vinatech).

It is a core technology that reduces the manufacturing cost of fuel cells by at least 30%.
