On July 22, Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) attended an exchange meeting that took place at the IRESEN (Institute Research Energy Solar and Energy Nouvelles), a Moroccan research institute for renewable energy, to discuss joint research and technology instruction in the field of renewable energy and microgrids.

KIER visited the headquarters of the MASEN (Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy), which is a large-scale renewable energy supplier, and signed an MOU for supplying microgrids in Africa.
