Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) signed an international cooperation agreement with ORE (Offshore Renewable Energy) Catapult, a research center for offshore renewable energy under Innovate UK, on July 18 (Mon.) for joint research and exchanges.

The core aspects of the agreement are the R&D of the smart management of offshore wind farm operation, and utilizing the data platform of ORE Catapult called the SPARTA (System Performance, Availability and Reliability Trend Analysis) program in a way that suits the conditions of Korea.
