The Chairman of the Korea Power Exchange (KPX) visited the Korea Institute of Energy Research’s Daejeon Headquarters on August 18 (Wed) to discuss the establishment of a cooperative system.

This visit was to discuss ways to establish a cooperative system between the two organizations to contribute to energy technology development (Korea Institute of Energy Research) and government power policy establishment (Korea Power Exchange) for successful implementation of energy transition and carbon neutrality, and they had in-depth discussions on cooperation methods of the fields including ▲renewable energy field (potential renewable energy resources, new and renewable energy technology information and power generation information), and ▲carbon-neutral response field (next-generation storage device, water electrolysis system/hydrogen production unit, CCUS, clean fuel).
