Korea Institute of Energy Research (President Jong-Nam Kim) was designated as a National Team (N-TEAM) of the Ministry of Science and ICT's “National Research Infrastructure (3N) Phase II Designation” on July 10.

N-TEAM is an industrial support system officially designated at the national level as a consultative body for materials, parts, and equipment that is autonomously organized and operated by industry, academia, and research institutions in the wake of the export restrictions by Japan. Korea Institute of Energy Research’s platform technology laboratory, business development team, and SMEs cooperation team have been selected to participate and will play a major role through providing technical advice and technical support for energy-related materials, parts, and equipment at industrial sites.
