Dr. Gu-gon Park’s Fuel Cell Lab. at KIER jointly developed core-shell structure catalyst technology with the Brookhaven National Laboratory (USA), and Central Michigan University (USA). This technology can dramatically increase the lifespan while reducing the amount of platinum used as a catalyst for hydrogen fuel cells.

This research results were published on the front cover of the world-renowned chemistry journal ‘ACS Catalysis (IF 12.35)’ on May 7, issued by the American Chemical Society.
