The Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) held the ‘Vision Proclamation Ceremony for Realization of 2050 Carbon Neutrality’ at the headquarters in Daejeon on April 26 (Mon).

Hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the KIER, this event was held to express the will to contribute to realization of carbon neutrality by gathering research institutes, one of the key players in carbon-neutral technology development.

At the vision declaration ceremony, President Jong-nam Kim at KIER made a ‘Carbon Neutrality Research Institute’s Vision Announcement’ and the participating organizations had a ‘Vision Declaration Ceremony.’ After that, there was field tours visiting ‘Hydrogen Production Plant for Hydrogen Refueling Station’, ‘Solar Cell Lab’ and ‘Smart Grid Lab’.
