The Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) was selected as an excellent public announcement organization in 2020 by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance through the examination on integrated announcement of public organizations.

Since 2007, the every organization makes public announcement on the major management information according to the law of public organization operation.

Among the 15 organizations selected for excellent public announcement, KIER is the only government-funded research institution under the Ministry of Science and ICT.
