On February 5, Dr. Kim Jong-nam, president of Korea Institute of Energy Research, attended the agreement ceremony for investing of a scale of 48 trillion for offshore wind complex with the governor and other heads from related organizations in public and private sectors and had an interview through Youtube channel for the Blue House.

President Dr. Kim Jong-nam emphasized the importance of renewable energy and the increasing role of the Korea Institute of Energy Research in the Korean version of the New Deal.
