Korea Institute of Energy Research (President, Kim Jong-nam) held a signing ceremony of the technology transfer agreement with Wonil T&I on May 18 (Mon) at its head office to transfer the patent and know-how regarding engineering technologies to develop a pressurized modular high-purity hydrogen production unit with the country's own technology.

The technology transfer is related to the 'complete localization and low-cost engineering technology to construct a high-purity hydrogen production unit for on-site supply', which is considered as a main driver for the growth of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle market, and it is also a critical technology to build the hydrogen supply infrastructure applicable to hydrogen fueling stations and hydrogen cities.
