The Korea Institute of Energy Research held a ceremony on September 7 (Tue) to celebrate its 44th anniversary at Daejeon Headquarters.

To commemorate the establishment, awards ceremony was held for the National Science and Technology Research Association Chairman's Award, Excellent Employee Award, Academic Research Award, and Achievement Award.

In particular, Dr. Yeo-il Yoon of the Greenhouse Gas Research Department was awarded the ‘KIER Researcher of the Year’ award given to outstanding researcher who has greatly contributed to the development of KIER.
