Dr. Kim Dong-suk's research team at KIER has developed a manufacturing technology that can dramatically improve the low efficiency of large-area perovskite solar cells, which have been considered a stumbling block for commercialization. The team also published the technology in the journal of 'Science' (Science, IF 47.728).'

This technology enables producing thin films regardless of size in a short time at a low temperature of 150 degrees or less and is expected to be an optimized method for making large-area perovskite solar cells.
