On October 5 (Tuesday), the partnership and cooperation agreement between KIER and EMGL (Erdenes Mongol LLC) of Mongolia entered into force by signing it.

The agreement aims to develop the sectors of ▲consultation in research on the feasibility of low-grade coal upgrading projects in Mongolia ▲technical advice, technology transfer, and educational training for the high-grade project.

KIER will consolidate areas of cooperation and engagement for a feasibility study using low-grade coal from the Shibee-Ovoo mine and EMGL and discuss the direction of commercialization (technology transfer) and size/company selection.
