The ‘Chemical Looping Combustion Technology’ developed by Dr. Ryu Ho-Jung’s research team of the Korea Institute of Energy Research (President Kim Jong-nam) Climate Change Research Division was selected as one of the top 100 national R&D excellence achievements in 2020.

The chemical looping combustion technology is a next-generation combustion technology that can fundamentally separate more than 98% of carbon dioxide that causes the greenhouse effect without a separation facility, and can also reduce nitrogen oxides which cause ultra-fine dust.
