KIER and Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd. signed ‘Mutual Cooperation Agreement for Carbon Neutrality Leading in 2050’ at the Daejeon Headquarters on September 3 (Fri).

Major areas of cooperation include ▲development and demonstration of hydrogen and ammonia fusion power generation technology ▲development and demonstration of greenhouse gas capture, storage and utilization technology, and ▲technology exchange and consultation in related fields.

Through this agreement, the two organizations will actively promote research and development of ‘ammonia-based fuel cell power generation technology’ and ‘fuel cell carbon dioxide capture facility’, and will continue to jointly conduct discovery of various hydrogen fusion technology and demonstration projects in the future to revitalize the hydrogen economy and create jobs.
