The Korea Institute of Energy Research held the winter symposium 2021 for the Korea Society of Energy & Climate Change from February 25 (Thursday) to 26th (Friday). This symposium was held to discuss measures for the future carbon-neutral society under the theme of ‘Significant issues and policy directions for carbon neutral society 2050’ with in-depth discussions by experts in the field of energy and climate change. The Korea Society of Energy & Climate Change is an academic association organized since 2004 to contribute to industrial, trade, economy, science, and technology by establishing and disseminating energy and climate change. The president is Dr. Lee Si-hyun from the Korea Institute of Energy Research, and Dr. Ryu Ho-jung, Dr. Yoo Ji-ho, and Dr. Park Nyun-bae are actively engaged as board members.
