Climate Change Research Division
Back to Organization
The mission of Climate Change Research Division is to develop the greenhouse gas reduction, capture and utilization technology for responding to climate change, and cope with the situation of high oil price through developing clean and high value-added production technology from fossil fuels, biomass and waste resources.
Major research areas include the greenhouse gas capture/conversion/utilization technology, clean coal, gasification, upgrading of oil and gas, biomass production and upgrading alternative fuel production from waste resources, and so on.
In addition, we are conducting a research on removing the environmental pollutants into zero-emission level as well as joint research projects with foreign and domestic institutes, industries and academia.
